BA JFC 14's 5 - 1 Dawlish Utd

After last week impressive preformance at Chudleigh which was a 5-3 victory in Wayne's first game in charge. This week it was Dawlish United at home still playing the new system we tried at Chudleigh and worked hard on in training this week, with the help of Glen Holmes in training which is appreciated by the boys.The game started with Buckland doing all the attacking but unable to break down a good Dawlish defence until after about 20 minutes Tom Reyonlds went around his defender a crossed a good cross to the backpost for Tom Barrett to score and that is how it was at half time.The second half started the same way with Buckland doing all the attacking but in a quick counter attack Ashley Hext in goal made a very good save in a one on one situation with the attacker,we then went up the other end and Alex Grey scored with a shot from the edge of the box after a lay back from Jamie Meaden . Jamie then made it 3-0 before Dawlish scored with ten minutes to go . Jamie then scored again to stop any comeback from Dawlish, then finally Grant Spry got the goal his hard work and running deserved.

Wayne was very please with the hard work the boys did before they started playing very attractive football. Next week is top of the league Marldon away with a full strength team who knows with the way the team has played in the last two games. Once again well played to every player
